Certified Pre-Owned 2024 Ford Explorer ST 4x4 in St. Louis, MO

The 2024 Ford Explorer ST delivers a high-performance SUV experience with a compelling blend of power, technology, and comfort. Featuring a White Metallic exterior and an Ebony leather interior, this SUV stands out for its sporty styling and family-friendly versatility.

This SUV suits buyers researching a vehicle that can handle active family life, daily commuting, and long-distance travel with equal ease. Those who value flexible seating-like the third-row bench and PowerFold feature-will appreciate how it adapts to both passenger and cargo needs. The heated and ventilated leather sport captain’s chairs, heated steering wheel, and second-row heated seats provide comfort in all seasons, while the dual-zone automatic climate control system ensures everyone stays comfortable. With intelligent adaptive cruise control and a power liftgate, the Explorer ST makes handling errands or road trips straightforward, especially in regions like St. Louis where weather and urban driving demands can vary.

0L EcoBoost V6 engine is engineered for robust acceleration and responsive power delivery, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission that offers smooth, efficient gear changes. The SelectShift capability with paddle shifters allows for manual gear control, delivering a more engaging drive when desired. Performance front and rear brakes contribute to confident stopping power, and four-wheel independent suspension ensures balanced handling and ride comfort on both city streets and highways. Speed-sensing steering and sport-specific tuning provide agility and composure, making the SUV feel stable and composed even when fully loaded.

Safety is a core focus, highlighted by features designed to support driver awareness and proactive accident avoidance. Intelligent adaptive cruise control maintains preset following distances in traffic, while evasive steering assist can help the driver avoid potential collisions by providing additional steering support. The 360-degree camera system with split view and rear parking sensors simplify maneuvers in tight spaces. Blind spot monitoring is supported by exterior parking cameras, and reverse brake assist can automatically apply the brakes if a potential impact is detected while backing up. Further, rain-sensing wipers, sideview mirrors with gloss black caps for visibility, and multiple airbags-including knee and side-impact-help protect occupants in various scenarios.

The Technology Package on the Explorer ST brings advanced convenience, including a voice-activated touchscreen navigation system, SYNC 3 with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen for premium audio. Wireless charging, a universal garage door opener, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot enable connected travel.

When comparing this SUV to segment rivals like the Chevrolet Traverse RS and Dodge Durango R/T, the Explorer ST stands out for its performance-oriented EcoBoost V6 engine and comprehensive technology suite.

What are the key features of this vehicle? The Explorer ST offers heated and ventilated leather sport captain’s chairs, a twin panel moonroof, voice-activated navigation, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system. How does it perform in daily driving? The 3.0L EcoBoost V6 and 10-speed automatic transmission supply smooth, responsive power, while the 4WD system gives confidence in varying road conditions.
