Pre-Owned 2016 Ford Escape Titanium FWD in St. Louis, MO

The 2016 Ford Escape Titanium stands out by including high-end features as standard, giving buyers more equipment at this price point than most rivals.

Value-focused buyers who scrutinize every feature will appreciate the Escape Titanium’s balanced package. This SUV is ideal for those who want a comfortable daily commuter with enough technology and safety features to justify every dollar spent. In the St. Louis area, where unpredictable weather and varied commutes are the norm, this SUV’s heated seats, power liftgate, and advanced safety tech provide practical advantages that would often require upgrades elsewhere. It’s a smart choice for families and professionals seeking long-term value, not just upfront savings.

Performance for the Escape Titanium is centered around the EcoBoost 1.6L I4 GTDi DOHC Turbocharged VCT engine, paired with a smooth 6-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. This combination delivers a solid balance of power and efficiency, achieving an EPA-estimated 23 mpg city and 32 mpg highway. Compared to similarly priced SUVs, the Escape provides a favorable power-to-price ratio, offering turbocharged responsiveness that translates to fuel savings over time. Lower fuel consumption and efficient engine design mean fewer stops at the pump and better value in everyday use.

Standard safety features on this SUV elevate its value by including critical equipment that often costs extra elsewhere. Anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, a full suite of airbags-including knee and side-impact-and Ford’s 911 Assist emergency communication give peace of mind without a premium. Where rivals may require stepping up to higher trims for similar protection, the Escape Titanium delivers comprehensive safety as part of its core package, reinforcing its value proposition for cautious families and commuters alike.

The Titanium trim brings a host of desirable features as standard, such as heated leather-trimmed buckets with memory settings, a 10-speaker audio system, SiriusXM radio, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power liftgate. Convenience touches like remote keyless entry, power driver and passenger seats, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls are all included, sparing buyers from costly add-ons. Functional items such as automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and split folding rear seats further enhance daily usability, translating to real savings and comfort.

When compared to alternatives like the Honda CR-V EX-L and Toyota RAV4 XLE, the Escape Titanium distinguishes itself by integrating more upscale features as standard equipment. While the CR-V and RAV4 often require purchasing higher trims or expensive packages for amenities like heated leather seating and advanced infotainment, the Escape includes them at the Titanium level. This means more comfort, technology, and convenience for your investment, making it one of the best-equipped choices in the segment for buyers prioritizing value without compromise.

What’s included as standard equipment? The Escape Titanium bundles heated leather seats, a premium stereo, dual-zone climate, and a power liftgate, all without extra cost. Is this SUV worth the price? Its robust feature list and efficient turbo engine make it a strong value proposition. Which trim offers the best value? The Titanium is the most cost-effective for buyers seeking luxury features as standard.
